The flower shop's design incorporates multi-level flexibility to accommodate seasonal changes. This is accomplished through the use of interior furniture for the central display and shelving, adjustable track lighting, and a fog system to regulate the shop's temperature. The townhouse's refurbishment focuses on adaptive reuse through environmental design. One example is the townhouse's central garden, which improves air circulation using the stack effect. This effect is also present through the existing vertical passive vents in one of the walls, as well as the newly installed skylight.
